Thank you to all our early backers who are supporting this Kickstarter. It was great to meet so many of you at PAX Unplugged on Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to meeting more of you who are at the convention today. We are super excited and looking forward to providing some more add-on options, so you can further build and customize your own modular storage.

We are excited to announce our first free reward. Based on your feedback, we will offer you free felt bottom inserts for the trays and drawers in all bundles. These inserts will give you additional ability to customize the look and feel of your Vaikin Box. The felt bottoms provide protection between your trays and drawers and everything you may store in them. Plus they add color to your configuration. We are starting by offering 2 colors which are pictured on the Kickstarter page (Burgandy Red and Navy Blue). You will be able to select one color after the Kickstarter close. If you want additional color options, let us know and we can adjust our stretch goals to source other choices.
We are also happy to announce we have increased the size of the 3 inch tray (inner height) to 3 1/4 inches based on user feedback to fit popular pick and pluck foam size options. We are also finalizing design work on the requests for 4 and 5 inch tray and drawer add-ons.
Lastly, we created an updated stretch goal list based on your feedback with funding targets, so we can keep offering more options. Keep your suggestions coming. We want to prioritize what you want.

We are super excited to announce that ala cart add ons for Trays, Hinges, Drawers, & Felt Bottom Inserts are now available. We were so excited that we also decided to unlock early the add ons for 4 & 5 Inch (Inner Height) Drawers and 4 1/4 & 5 1/4 Inch (Inner Height) Trays, so you have more options for your builds. We also are giving you more space in the existing drawers, increasing the inner heights (space from the inside bottom of the drawer to the top of the next module) to 2 and 3 inches respectively. Lastly, we added a Vaikin Box Rubric which provides guidance on building your storage system in terms of which tray sizes can be connected on top of each other both facing up or inverted (like a clamshell to provide even more space for larger items). We also provided a few other points of guidance to consider in terms of center of gravity as you build and expand.
