Hi Everyone! Hope you are all having a great holiday season. We are continuing to work on ideas for new add-ons. We are planning to continue to provide modular options after the Kickstarter and make it easy for you to continue to build and expand years down the road. We thought you may be interested to see how we are using the Bifrost Vaikin Box bundle with paint trays for our miniature painting setup.  We also thought you may want to see how we use the Midgard Vaikin Box bundle as our traveling Dungeon Master's friend.  We also posted both to our Kickstarter story page.

Closer Look at the Free Felt Bottom Inserts

 We are really excited about how the felt bottom inserts look and hope you will enjoy them.  We wanted to give you a closer look at how the 2 colors choices look in the Asagard bundle.  These are now included FREE in every bundle.

Inverting Trays in Builds and More On Taller Trays & Drawers

Inverting trays... what kind of sorcery is this?

With the release of à la carte tray and drawer module add-ons, we also released a rubric on how they can interact with each other to help you plan your dream Vaikin Box build. It also raised questions about what this really meant. Yes, you can actually invert any of the "Bottom" or "Core" trays and connect them over another "Bottom" or "Core" to form a clamshell style cover which will allow you to store taller items. If the tray module on the top is a "Core" tray, you can still connect another "Core" or "Top" tray above it as well in the normal orientation. Please see the video below for a quick demonstration of just one way this can be utilized.   

Taller Drawer and Tray Modules

In the last update we also announced the early release of the 4 and 5 inch Drawer modules along with the 4 1/4 and 5 1/4 inch "Bottom" Trays. Here are a couple of pictures of the prototypes to show you how big they are.

Vallejo & Citadel Style Paint Tray Divider Kits Added!

You asked for it, we prototyped it, refined it, and added paint tray divider kits for both Vallejo and Citadel style paints.

The Vallejo kit fits up to 32 paints and the Citadel kit fits up to 36 paints. They are also both modular and interchangeable with each other. You can use half of each kit to store 16 Vallejo paints on one side and 18 Citadel paints on the other side. We hope you enjoy these two new add-ons.

We are continuing to work on your requests for 4-5 inch drawers and trays. Keep the requests coming! Also, we will soon be providing ala cart options for all existing drawer and tray modules.

Paint Storage Design

We are thankful that Kyle's "Kanova Workshop" has been able to do all of our rapid prototyping over the last couple years to bring this project to life. We apologize for any confusion on the last post with his excitement to release a sneak peak of the initial paint storage prototypes from his collaborator account. If any of you have watched the Viking series, he is very much like Floki, clever, yet impulsive and silly.

Without further ado, here are the designs we are planning to release as an optional add-on for paint storage. Each will allow for full or half tray paint storage as needed in all trays (the taller Citadel will only fit in the 3"and 2 1/4" trays). Citadel will hold 20 per half and Vallejo/Army will hold 16 per half. 

Now, onto taller 4" and 5" bottom trays and drawers as requested!
