Backer Surveys Will Be Coming Soon!!!
about 1 year ago – Fri, Jan 27, 2023 at 07:23:28 AM

We hope everyone is having a great 2023 so far!!!

What's New? - We have almost finished setting up the pledge manager in BackerKit. Everyone should be on the lookout for an email from them with a link to your backer survey within the coming week. Please take a moment to fill out your survey as soon as possible so we can get started with manufacturing and fulfillment of your rewards.

What's Next? - We are currently working on procurement of materials while everyone is completing their surveys and plan to start production shortly after the survey window closes on 3/13/23.

What Does This Mean? - This means there is a very good chance that everyone will be receiving their rewards earlier than the anticipated ship dates posted in the campaign. Since there are a couple of variables at play in this, we cannot guarantee we will be shipping early, however it appears Odin will favor us and early shipping is a very good possibility.

Material and design strength and quality
over 1 year ago – Wed, Jan 04, 2023 at 10:32:56 AM

Hi everyone!  We've had an inquiry about the quality of the material and design of the Vaikin Box and wanted to share a video and a few pictures.  As we mentioned in the campaign story, we selected 1/4" plywood for the Vaikin box for its good quality and value. As with any material, plywood comes in a wide variety of grades, which also vary in cost and quality. The material we selected for the Vaikin Box was chosen for both its strength and weight to have the lightest, yet strongest construction possible for ease of transport and durability. The material was also selected for the grain of the wood and ability to hold a stain or other finishes. To demonstrate the strength of the material and design, we've included a short video of a 170+ pound person stepping up and standing on an Asgard (we've also used it as a seat when waiting in line at game conventions or walking show floors).  Included are a few close up pictures to better see the cuts of the laser on the edges and grain of the wood. We are excited about the product and looking forward to getting it in your hands.

Who Doesn't Like Free Stuff?
over 1 year ago – Sat, Dec 31, 2022 at 01:50:19 PM

Thank you and Happy New Years!!!

As a big thank you and gift to all bundle backers, we have decided to include a free set of the Rubber Foot kit and one free Half Tray Insert with all bundles.

What is the Rubber Foot kit? It is four rubber feet with Chicago screws which attach to the bottom tray or drawer modular in your stack to keep it from sliding around and protect the surface you set your Vaikin Box on. It also makes it easier to position the carry strap.

What is a Half Tray Insert? It is a tray which is half the width of a tray module to store game components and other objects and can fit two per Tray Module. In the 3 1/4 inch Bottom Tray, you can  fit four trays (2x side by side stacked 2 layers high). The 5 1/4 inch Tray Modules will fit six Half Trays (2x side by side stacked 3 layers high). Here are pics of the the Half Tray Insert in the 3 1/4 inch Bottom Tray.
